Moving Beyond The Offense, Living Without Animosity

Forgiveness is one of the most liberating and fulfilling deeds in the world.

Unforgiveness possibly holds more people in bondage than anything else. Holding unforgiveness in our hearts damages us more than the other person. There is a misconception that if we forgive the person who hurt us, we are somehow doing them a favor, but forgiveness is not for the other person; forgiveness is for us. Forgiving someone who has offended us is a very difficult thing to do, but it is one of the most liberating and fulfilling deeds in the world. Forgiveness sets us free to live life without the bondage of anger, bitterness, hqatred and resentment. We can only move as far as the offense will allow us. Without forgiveness we are stuck!

*Pursuing revenge will only lead to more destruction in your life and the lives of others.

*Forgiveness does not need to be earned before it can be given.
